A few tips while you search:

• Try your ancestor's maiden name if she was married.
• Click "Show Advanced..." to add a birth or death year and narrow the results.
• Only sure of a state? A birth or death place alone can still help.
• If your ancestor's surname is common, adding their middle name can help too.
